DAN Adjustment Tool

Streamline Regulator adjustments from your DAN spreadsheet
Step 1 — Prep Adjustment
Use this bookmarklet on the Google Sheet. Select a row, copy it (Cmd+C), click the bookmarklet, then Cmd+V into the prompt. It parses the row data, determines the correct adjustment tier, and opens Regulator to the unit's page.
Prep DAN Adjustment
Select the row in the DAN Google Sheet that needs adjustment
Copy the row — Cmd+C (make sure you select the full row A through P)
Click the "Prep DAN Adjustment" bookmarklet — a prompt box appears
Cmd+V to paste the row into the prompt, then click OK
A toast shows the parsed data + tier. Regulator opens to the unit's page in a new tab. The adjustment data is copied to your clipboard as JSON.
The bookmarklet shows a prompt box. Copy the row first (Cmd+C), then click the bookmarklet and paste (Cmd+V) into the prompt. It parses the tab-separated values from columns A–P.
Step 2 — Auto-Fill Adjustment
Use this bookmarklet on Regulator after the adjustment modal is open. It reads the data from your clipboard and fills in all form fields automatically.
Fill DAN Adjustment
On the Regulator page, click Actions (bottom left)
Select the correct adjustment tier — the Prep bookmarklet toast tells you which one (Small Large or Humongous)
Once the modal is open, click the "Fill DAN Adjustment" bookmarklet
Review the auto-filled fields, then click Submit
Go back to the Google Sheet and mark column P as Yes
Always review before submitting. Verify the amount, debit/credit, and reason are correct before clicking Submit. The bookmarklet fills fields but does not submit automatically.
Step 3 — Generate Email
Use this bookmarklet on the Google Sheet after the adjustment is submitted. Copy the row, click the bookmarklet, paste into the prompt — it generates the Debit or Credit seller communication ready to paste into Salesforce.
Generate DAN Email
After submitting the adjustment, go back to the Google Sheet
Select the row and Cmd+C to copy
Click the "Generate DAN Email" bookmarklet — a prompt asks for your name (first time only)
A second prompt appears — Cmd+V to paste the row, then click OK
The generated email appears in an alert — copy it and paste into Salesforce
Your name is remembered for the session. The email template auto-selects Debit or Credit based on column N. Lindsey and Jennifer can use this too — just drag the bookmarklet to their bookmarks bar.
